Celebrating Outstanding Student Leadership

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is pleased to host the third District-wide Student Recognition Awards. The purpose of this new initiative is to celebrate excellence in student leadership.

One of the long-term goals of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is to strengthen the organization’s commitment to creating a learning and work environment that encourages positive outcomes for all students and staff. To support that objective the District has recognized teachers, administrators, and support staff with the Director’s Citation, Mentoring, Innovation, Ronald K. Lynch Memorial, and Technology Excellence awards.

The students being recognized were chosen by their principals and/or coordinators who felt they demonstrated the will to succeed, the dedication to finish what they started, and the commitment to achieve their personal best.
