Ottawa-Carleton Education Network  - International Reach

The Ottawa-Carleton Education Network (OCENET) is a non-profit corporation established to develop and promote Ottawa International Student Programs within the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board.

This year we welcomed and provided support for 206 international students from 23 countries. Sixty-two elementary students were enrolled in 31 elementary schools, and 144 high school students in 19 secondary schools.  The students were dispersed throughout   the district, giving as many local students as possible an opportunity to share the cultures, customs and life experiences of their foreign counterparts.

All international students must be academically strong and are required to submit school transcripts along with a letter of recommendation as part of being accepted into the school district.  International students are required to pay tuition fees.
