Curriculum ServicesOur Curriculum Services Division, under the guidance of Superintendent of Curriculum Jennifer Adams, is comprised of several seconded academic staff including principals and teachers serving as consultants to schools, in addition to an administrative team. We are responsible for curriculum development, including all core subjects areas, as well as English as a Second Language, French as a Second Language, the Arts, trades and technology, cooperative education and implementation of new Ministry of Education curriculum initiatives. Within this division falls Quality Assurance, responsible for administering the EQAO standardized tests in reading, writing and math, and other district-wide examinations. This team also undertakes district program reviews on a cyclical and ad hoc basis to ensure quality and equality of programming to our students. For general inquiries, please email . The Centre’s staff will provide student assessment and guidance for English language learners and their families. Parents/legal guardians with permanent resident status, diplomatic status, on work or study visas, or who have refugee status should make an appointment with the Family Reception Centre. You will need to bring your immigration documents, immunization records, and previous school records. |
