The OCDSB offers a range of special education programs:

arrow Special education school

The tiered approach is an extremely effective approach to assessment and intervention which sequentially increases the intensity of instructional intervention for a student requiring special education programs and services. The following links provides information regarding specialized programs. Specialized programs or special education classes for OCDSB students whose needs can best be met in a class comprised of students with similar identified exceptionalities. The location of the classes may or may not be in a pupil's community school. There is a central application process which requires parental consent to authorize the application.
